Books not showing up
Sometimes digital content takes a minute to sync, and sometimes your settings could be "hiding" the content so that you can't find it. Here are some steps to help you locate your book if you cannot readily see it in your library:
- First, make sure that your device is up to date. An outdated device may be causing issues with your app. Make sure you have at least iOS 18.0 or Android 10.0 on your device. You can check for System Updates in your Settings.
- Make sure your Deseret Bookshelf app is up to date. You can check your app version by going to Account > Legal >Copyright Information -- the version number will appear at the top.
- Log out and log back in to your app. This will kick-start the syncing process between your app and our servers. Make sure you are using the same email address that you used to purchase the book on the website.
Tap on the Library icon in the bottom left to navigate to your Library.
- Make sure filter icon at the top is set to All
- Make sure Sort: is set to Recently Added
If this does not resolve this issue then try to:
- Restart your device.
and/or
- Reinstall the Bookshelf App
- Press and hold the Bookshelf app icon until a menu appears.
- Tap “Remove App” or “Delete App” (depending on your iOS version).
- If given multiple options, make sure to fully delete the app.
- Reinstall it by opening the App Store, searching for Deseret Bookshelf, and tapping “Get”.
