Payment Not Going Through
For security, our credit card system requires that the address you have entered in association with your credit card matches exactly to what the bank or credit card company has on record for you. You may not be able to proceed with your order if there is a problem with the address. You may experience the screen just goes blank when you try to submit payment or you get an error message that payment could not be applied.
Here are some steps to try if you are having trouble with your credit card payment applying and letting your order progress:
- If you have a "plus 4" on your zip code that auto populated, remove the "plus 4" and save the address again.
- If you have moved recently, your credit card may be associated with an older address and you will need to put the older address in on the billing page.
- It also may be helpful to go to "my account" from the Deseret Book homepage and delete any older credit cards you have listed and enter the new credit card number on the account before checking out.
- Check with your bank or credit card company to verify the exact address that they have recorded for you.
